We are seeking a Estimator to join our team! The Estimator will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. This role is essential to ensuring that projects are priced correctly, stay within budget, and meet our client’s needs. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, field personnel, and clients to deliver top-notch electrical solutions on time and on budget.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate electrical cost estimates.
- Analyze project requirements, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Prepare and present cost proposals and bid documents to clients.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify project scope and requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates and ensure all necessary documentation is properly filed.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess job site conditions and gain project understanding.
- Keep up to date with market trends and pricing to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and standards.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing for materials and services.
Qualifications:
- Good computer skills.
- Knowledge in Excel and Word
- Estimating experience is not required but is helpful
- Electrical experience is preferred but not required.
- Training will be provided to the right candidate
- Good communication skills
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
