I’m currently looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager for an established and growing construction firm in Tampa, FL. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional who is looking to take on a leadership role and oversee a range of exciting construction projects from start to finish. This role involves overseeing all stages of the construction process, from initial planning and scheduling to project close-out.
❗Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality targets.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure all project activities comply with contractual obligations and specifications.
- Identify and manage potential risks, resolving issues as they arise to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and change orders.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
🔎What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and contract management.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
- Experience working in high-pressure environments and delivering results.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
