Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and detailed estimates for drywall projects in high-end retail environments.
- Review architectural plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine material and labor costs.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and contractors to ensure estimates align with project scope and budgets.
- Prepare and submit bids, ensuring they meet client deadlines and requirements.
- Identify potential project risks and offer value engineering solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry materials, labor rates, and cost trends.
- Assist in project handoff and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a drywall estimator, preferably in high-end retail construction
- Strong understanding of drywall installation techniques, materials, and building codes
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in estimates
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents
