Job Title: Estimator
Location: Essex County
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 Commission
We seek a detail-oriented and skilled Estimator to contribute to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and contracts to prepare accurate cost estimates for fire protection services.
- Collaborate with the service team to meet project requirements and client needs.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in each project and provide value-engineering solutions.
- Presents estimates and proposals to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Work with vendors to secure competitive pricing and ensure material and labor costs accuracy.
- Monitor and track project costs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably within the fire protection industry or related services.
- Strong understanding of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, and suppression systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in estimating software and MS Office suite.
