Senior Estimator – MEP, Mechanical, Engineering & Plumbing
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Salary: $140,000 Bens
A rapidly growing GC that house a great culture and work/life balance alongside large scale complex construction public & government projects are urgently looking to add an experienced Estimator with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing estimates.
You will have prior experience working within a GC and estimating across all divisions of work and experience with pre-construction, scoping projects, estimating and take-offs. In the role you will work across a range of complex MEP public projects including ground-up new builds and renovations for healthcare, public and government projects ranging from $5M-$50M.
You will be confident creating preliminary construction schedules and phasing plans based on project documents, with a strong understanding of the building process and coordination among various trades. Additionally, proposal writing skills are preferred, and experience in reviewing contract documents, project specifications, and construction drawings is highly valued. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Planswift, Building Connected, P6, and other construction software systems is essential.
