Field Operations Manager - HVAC
Location: Santee, CA 92071
Reports to: Operations Manager / General Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Field Operations Manager to oversee our field technicians, manage HVAC installation and service techs, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves training, mentoring, and holding technicians accountable for their sales goals and KPIs, overseeing warranty and customer issues, and overseeing warehouse inventory and vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate will work closely with the managers or assigned personnel to ensure optimal scheduling and quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technician Oversight & Training: Lead, train, and hold field technicians accountable for sales goals, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- HVAC Installations: Oversee timely and quality HVAC installations, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards.
- Sales Oversight: Oversee employee's sales KPI’s thru conversion rate, average dollar of sale
- Customer Satisfaction & Warranty Management: Address and resolve customer complaints, warranty issues, and ensure high satisfaction.
- Inventory & Vehicle Management: Manage warehouse inventory, vehicle stock, and ensure routine vehicle maintenance.
- Collaboration: Work with lead dispatch or assigned personnel to assign the best technicians to jobs and ensure efficient scheduling and service completion.
KPIs:
- Sales Revenue: Meet technician sales goals, including upsales and service contracts.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and first-time resolution rates.
- Performance Metrics: Achieve technician performance goals related to service times, job completion, and quality.
- Inventory & Vehicle Efficiency: Ensure accurate inventory management and vehicle maintenance compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven HVAC management experience, with knowledge of installation, service, and sales processes.
- Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive employee growth and encourage sales goals.
- Ability to manage inventory, vehicle stock, and technician performance.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
