Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support to a 5-yr old Autistic boy in the family home. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and reliable.
Duties
- provide hygiene measures before and after meals
- keep skin clean and dry
- assist child in receiving adequate nutrition and hydration
- assist in toileting and bathing
- assist parents in ADLs for child
Requirements
- Must be able to start Jan 18, 2025.
- Must be able to do a meet and greet with the family prior to starting
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with first aid
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards caregiving.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work independently as well as with the parents
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
