Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support to a female individual located in her home.
She has family support from a sister. Her medical condition at this time is stable. Skin is intact. She has clear speech, can make herself understood, and understands others. Participant is able to make independent decisions. She is not socially isolated or withdrawn from leisure activities
Responsibilities
- Monitor client's health by reporting any changes to the provider, nurse and family.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately.
- Occasional errands
Skills
- Experience in home health settings is preferred.
- Experience in organizing and basic home chores
- Knowledge of patient monitoring
- Excellent communication skills/effective interaction with provider and family.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others maintain their independence.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week

- The hours are M-F 1.5 hours per day in the morning or afternoon. Client prefers the caregiver to be available between 8a and noon.
