Environmental Services Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will ensure that all areas are kept clean, sanitized, and presentable for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report when supplies are low.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
• Ensure that all equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
