What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advertising Support Specialist – Circular/Signs position at Allegiance Retail Services, LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this position, the individual is primarily responsible for providing effective support to everyday Advertising/Marketing department functions. Assists with circular production, proofing and signs. Works under supervision, with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment using well-established policies, procedures, and techniques.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and execute weekly sign kits for Member stores, customizing where necessary. NJ, NY, PSK, PA sign kits.
- Create unique sign kits for our stores; Communicate to the sign company the exact requirements for each sign.
- Create NJ signage with Creps provided Ad Sketch system; Select the items for the signage.
- Work with E-Commerce team when necessary for the implementation of special sign kits.
- Create various reports. Use APS and the Portal; Special promotions and custom sign kits- Create specialty sign kits for holidays; signs, banners, register signs, golf outings and Food Show; Help to organize, artwork and copy; Send out distribution to appropriate parties.
- Special projects such as presentations for merchandising meetings for the webinars.
- Preparing the circulars: Printing out program from APS portal; Go into member portal, indicate the week we are working on; Request a proofing report by state for the circular; By each department; Print out proofing report; Place original base pages on the Share Drive for all departments. Receive changes and notes from assigned stores and store owner groups concerning their changes; Proof each page for errors, price changes, artwork, and placement of the ad; Receive notification from each department of their own review of their section; Make appropriate changes from department and advertising review. Receive final proof from the ad agency and check for accuracy; Release pages to the printer within the appropriate deadline set by the Advertising Manager.
- Cross trains with other Advertising Circular Support Specialists to serve as a backup for PTO times.
- Create and Send “Please Posts” and upload to member portal.
- Places weekly ad on Member Portal for members to review.
- Post press releases on ARS website
- Collects and distributes information on promotions to the agency and internally.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and approved by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak and communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- The individual must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- The individual has good time management skills, works on many different projects at one time (multitask) and possesses the ability to organize/manage multiple priorities
- Be able to work independently, be detail oriented and organized
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
