A leading supplier for woven and nonwoven fabrics, materials, and more is hiring a clerical position.

Accounting Clerk Schedule :

  • Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities :

  • Be knowledgeable in all aspects of weighted average cost system involving assigned products.
  • Code all assigned material invoices, match with receiving tickets and purchase orders, key into system for payment.
  • Prepare and key into system accruals / reversals, inventory record adjustments (IRA).
  • Communicate with product management and vendor contacts to resolve quantity and pricing discrepancies.
  • Correct errors on monthly preliminary run for accurate COGS and inventory balances.
  • Add / Change material vendors as required.
  • Complete monthly closing activities consisting of the preparation and input of journal entries to the mainframe computer system.
  • Maintain paperwork for assigned branch locations to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.

    • Accounting Clerk Qualifications :

  • 2-year accounting degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Able to operate office equipment.
  • Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions.
  • Must be able to think analytically and solve problems.
  • Commitment to Management System and Continuous Improvement process.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • 19.00 / hr.
