Allegiance Staffing is seeking an insurance billing and coding specialist for a temporary role. Th is position will start on 03 / 24 / 25 and will end in August 2025.

Location : Greenville, SC
Job Type : Temporary (March–August)
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 : 30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Pay : $18–$20 / hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
The Insurance Billing and Coding Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely billing for Medicare Part B, Medicaid, and third-party payers. This role includes processing claims, verifying insurance eligibility, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain patient billing information in the system.
- Verify insurance eligibility and approve referrals.
- Process claims, submit documentation, and correct rejected claims.
- Respond to patient, case manager, and insurance company inquiries.
- Maintain billing records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Process orders for enteral and incontinence supplies.
- Address discrepancies and complaints with the Reimbursement Manager.
- Participate in company meetings and continuing education programs.
- Assist with additional billing-related tasks as needed.
