Allegiance Staffing is looking to hire a Machine Maintenance Technician position in the Westfield area. This position is looking for someone with 5 years of experience in the Maintenance Technician field.
Shift is Mon-Fri 9AM to 5 : 30PM
Pay : 25.00 an hour
The Maintenance Technician will report to the facility Lead Maintenance Technician. This
individual is responsible for all building, grounds and equipment maintenance necessary to keep the
entire facility at a peak operational state. This will encompass the development and implementation of a
robust program to address all of the organization’s maintenance requirements as they pertain to
physical facilities and production equipment including performing and / or managing the work associated
with :
preventative maintenance programs
analysis of mechanical and electrical breakdowns
ensuring projects are completed within the scope of the maintenance department.
Must have PLC experience
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for following all Federal, State and Local safety
guidelines as well as all food safety guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities of this Position
Responsible for ensuring maintenance activities and preventative maintenance completed meets the company Food Safety, Quality & Legal requirements.
Making sure that employees work safely and are properly trained.
Coordinate plant activities with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Manage parts and ordering of supplies needed to ensure plant continually runs for production needs
Responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic / hydraulic, and related systems and equipment
Utilize problem solving skills to ensure installations, services, and repairs are completed to minimize production disruptions Requirements
Responsible for creating a Preventative Maintenance Plan and Parts Reorder Schedule, and any supporting documentation needed to regularly follow this plan.
Qualifications for the Position
Education High School Diploma or GED Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance specializing in mechanical and electrical work on industrial equipment in a manufacturing facility
Ability to multi-task and balance various activities and projects throughout the day
Must have valid driver’s license
Additional Preferred Skills
Experience in a food manufacturing facility
Related Technical Degree
Previous maintenance technician experience
Licensing in electrical, welding, or related field
Experience working in a TPM program or with Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers and / or Mettler Toledo metal detection / weight checking equipment.
Experience created standard work documentation and planning documents.
