Allegiance Staffing is hiring a dedicated and reliable Machine Operator in Durham to start immediately!
The Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operations of overwrap equipment or operate the slitter machinery to shear and slit continuous paper rolls to meet customer needs, providing quality, consistent work!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include :
Operate / Monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
Adjust machines as needed for changeover, different functions or other varying needs of production
Conduct quality checks periodically
Keep a daily activity log of production notes (including totals, defects, etc)
Qualifications
Ability to read and follow written work instructions
Ability to read and understand product labeling
Must be able to work in a team environment
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Previous manufacturing experience preferred especially in printing industry
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Schedule :
AM and PM shifts available
6 : 45am-6 : 45pm rotating or 7 : 15am-7 : 15pm rotating
Must be able to meet requirements for background check and pass drug screen.
