Manufacturing Electrical Technician
Allegiance Staffing is looking for a Direct Hire Electrical Maintenance Technician for a company on the Westside of Indianapolis.
Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electrical problems on all equipment
Maintain all machine safety guarding
Some Saturday Preventative Maintenance Required
Will be on call for breakdowns during off shifts
Some overtime required
Must maintain a clean and organized maintenance area
Self-Starter and ability to work alone
Must maintain accurate maintenance records and be well organized
Will report directly to Plant Manager
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma
Vocational or Technical School
5 years or more in a manufacturing maintenance role
Knowledge of OSHA regulation
Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues
Ability to perform heavy mechanical maintenance
Mechanical maintenance includes some fabrication, replacing bearings, machine tear down, etc.
Must be well versed in electrical troubleshooting to include replacing motors, VFD's, troubleshooting machine faults, low-voltage and high-voltage. etc.
Ability to keep up with maintenance records by utilizing PM Software
Job Type : Full-time Monday- Friday 10AM-8 : 00PM
Pay : Salary based on experience
Expected hours : 40 – 50 per week
