Picker / Packer

Job Summary: We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Pickers and Packers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for various manual functions, including using computers and scanners to locate, retrieve, and package inventory. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Picker:

• Use a computer and scanner to locate and retrieve products from warehouse inventory based on order lists.
• Ensure accuracy in picking orders and maintaining inventory records.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for efficient picking.

Packer:

• Use a computer and scanner to carefully package inventory, accessories, and promotional items for shipment.
• Ensure products are securely packed and labeled correctly.
• Inspect items for defects and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized packing station.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and high work ethic.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; ESL accepted but must speak some English.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening.
• Background check: No felonies; misdemeanors are acceptable except for sexual or violent crimes. Misdemeanors involving drug possession are okay, but no distribution charges.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Standing and walking for 8-10 hours a day will be required.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $16 per hour

Shift:

• Regular: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Peak: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
