A local nonwoven manufacturer is now hiring a quality control for the night shift.
Quality Control Schedule :
Night shift position 7 pm-7 am, 2x2x3 schedule.
Quality Control Responsibilities :
Ensure that all required tests are performed for each product and test data is entered into the database.
Scan various work order documents and maintain order run boards.
Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms.
Collect the test data from all shifts and perform the remaining tests not completed on nonwoven products.
Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods or protocols.
Notify production Team Leads of testing results.
Keep the lab organized with all relevant information readily accessible to team leaders and management.
Complete the Quality Technician Checklist and verify the operator's understanding of customer quality alerts.
Verify product blend, is needle-free, and does not have fused ends.
Verify product width and other dimensions with a tape measure.
Quality Control Qualifications :
Experience in a manufacturing and / or lab environment preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with coworkers in an effective and timely manner while instilling a professional attitude in the department.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
