Provide service to customers by overseeing the technicians accurately repairing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, and equipment using special tools and equipment according to auto body repair standards.
- Provide timely and accurate technical support / information to service office & customers.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work duties.
- Usure all safety rules are followed, and proper PPE are being used by technicians.
- Ensure all safety related training has been completed by the technicians.
- Communicate problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers, if requested.
- Oversee tagging of warranty parts and write warranty stories.
- Manage and order shop supplies in a timely manner.
- Ensure the spray booth, shop and tools are properly maintained, report issues to supervisor.
- Assist technicians with estimates and repairs.
- Use industry tools and materials to repair and paint vehicles.
- Distribute repair orders fairly and evenly.
- Manage shop workflow.
- Write, review, and adjust repair estimates and supplements.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
- Mentor new employees.
