Allegiant of Mesa is searching for a Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Respiratory Therapists to join the team. Allegiant of Mesa is a skilled nursing facility providing ventilator / trach and oxygen management services for long-term and short-stay patients. Must have a strong desire to help others, a positive attitude, and a great work ethic. Must be a team player, be polite, and possess the ability to think critically. This position is perfect for a RT wanting to advance and make a real contribution.
Under general supervision, will perform all respiratory care related duties to meet the needs of Allegiant of Mesa's patients.
Applying and monitoring oxygen therapy : tank, mask, canula, high flow, etc.
Administers all respiratory therapy procedures as ordered by the Physician.
Airway care to include the maintenance and care of tracheostomies, trach dressing, trach tube, inner cannulas, and trach tie changes.
Responsible for application and operation of ventilators for mechanical ventilation of patients.
Respiratory therapy including Incentive Spirometry.
Observation and monitoring of signs and symptoms to respiratory care treatment and reporting atypical responses.
Proficiency with mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and BiPAP modalities.
Prompt response to alarms.
Collaborates with nursing staff as needed.
Completes documentation timely and thoroughly.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of a respiratory therapy program
Valid and current CRT or RRT Credential
Current BLS / CPR - ACLS Preferred
Must be able to obtain a Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Shift : 12-Hour Shifts
Day Shift - PRN
Night Shift - PRN
