We are looking for a staff scheduler and HR professional who will lead our team of direct care staff. Responsibilities include advertising for and hiring direct care staff, training and evaluating staff, managing certifications and expirations, and working with our admin team to provide top quality care for the adults we serve. Responsibilities
- Advertise for open positions
- Interview, hire and onboard direct care staff
- Schedule staff to serve our program participants
- Maintain employee certifications and expirations
- Train employees through regular training sessions and on-the-job trainings
- Hire and oversee weekend and weekday on-call personnel
- Audit employee files for completion
- Create a positive, professional relationship with participants and their families
- Encourage and support direct care staff
- Create a welcoming environment to our office, greeting visitors
Skills
- Quick thinking and positive attitude
- Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations
- Proficiency with computer apps and Microsoft Word and Excel
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with both digital and paper files
- Experiencing serving the special needs population is a plus!
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in customer service and administrative roles
- Familiarity with clerical tasks and office management
- Ability to manage calendars and schedule appointments efficiently
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
