Summary :
As an Intern you will learn and assist with daily functions in accordance with Allegiant's Benefits, Compensation, Leave and Workers Compensation guidelines and policies. You will have the opportunity to learn about federal and state laws and regulations including FMLA, USERRA, CFRA, PPACA, and HIPAA, IRS125 Plans, etc.

Minimum Requirements :
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Education Details :
To be qualified to apply, intern candidates should be currently enrolled in a College or University, or a recent graduate within the last twelve months with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (emphasis in Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of general HR practices and processes.
- Knowledge of all general office equipment, e.g. computer, fax, printer, copier, scanner, multi-line phone system, and calculator.
- Sound multi-tasking and self-organization capabilities within tight timelines.
- Strong attention to detail while being results and solution driven.
- History of working independently with little direction.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and follow-up.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
