What You Will Do
Introduction: Join our team as a Meter Technician! This role involves the installation of new electric meters and water nodes, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. As an installer, you'll be responsible for executing and planning work orders, interacting with the public, and providing top-notch service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation of Electric Meters & Water Nodes: Install new electric meters and water nodes in residential and commercial properties.

Work Order Execution: Plan and execute work orders through the provided software, ensuring timely and accurate completion of each task.

Site Documentation:
- Take "As Found" site photos, including the original meter in the socket and an empty socket before installation, highlighting the condition of the socket.
- Capture a photo of the new meter installed, displaying the serial number.
- Document any maintenance or safety issues that may arise during the installation process.
- Take As Left general site photos after completing the installation, ensuring the site is left in good condition.

Customer Service: Engage with customers and the general public in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a positive interaction.

Customer Relationship Management: Maintain a strong working relationship with customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and feel confident in the work being done.

Inventory Management: Manage tools, equipment, and inventory related to the installation process, ensuring everything is organized and readily available.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook, ensuring a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in installation work, electrical or plumbing fields, or related trades is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow work orders with attention to detail.
- Must adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, tools, and meters up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel locally within the assigned area.
