Accelerate Pilot Pathway

Summary

The Allegiant Accelerate Cadet is a collegiate student enrolled and conducting flight training with an authorized University's Part 141 aviation training program. Cadets that are successful in entering the Accelerate Pathway are provided a Conditional Job Offer as an Allegiant First Officer and once successfully complete the program, will be sponsored to attend ATP-CTP and begin training as an Allegiant First Officer.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers, is a requirement of the job.

Years of Experience: At least 19 Years old (21 Years old to attend ATP-CTP)

Job Duties

• Attend and pass all courses in accordance with the enrolled university's curriculum.
• Receive all FAA ratings as required by the University's Part 141 curriculum.
• Remain eligible for issuance of R-ATP.
• Attend Accelerate Professional Development Seminars (in-person or virtually).
• Meet with Accelerate Cadre and Mentors during in-person visits as able.
• All Cadets must verify their flight time by logbooks.
• Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions.
• Attend visits to Allegiant HQ and training centers when scheduled and as able.
  
  

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate plane equipment (i.e. flight deck computers, plane doors, emergency equipment, etc.). May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 100 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to extreme noise (i.e.airport with planes, vehicles, and other machinery), temperature, wind, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Travel is a requirement of the role.

Essential Services Provider

Allegiant as a national air carrier is deemed an essential service provider during declared national and state emergencies. Team Members will be required to report to their assigned trip or work location during national and state emergencies unless prohibited by local, state, or federal order.
