Quality Technician 7 – Colorado Springs, Colorado
This is a critical position that supports production and validation of new products. The position will be responsible for the development, refinement, and execution of inspection methods to provide accurate and concise quality feedback to suppliers, engineers, and production personnel.

Quality Technician 7 – Colorado Springs, Colorado
This is a critical position that supports production and validation of new products. The position will be responsible for the development, refinement, and execution of inspection methods to provide accurate and concise quality feedback to suppliers, engineers, and production personnel.
What You Will Do
- Comply with standards and safety rules.
- Perform quality inspections using open setup, OGP, CMM and other tools as required.
- Provide quality reports, results and analysis to production engineering and other interested parties.
- When issues arise, assist the quality team to contain suspect material, document non-conformances, problem solve and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain organized and accurate records for the department.
- Understand various reporting methods using charts and reports.
- Assist in the identification and development of quality process improvements.
- Understand department metrics and contribute as required to meet goals.
- Monitor own work to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of measurements.
- Other duties as directed by management.
- Prior experience in precision manufacturing industry required.
- Detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical assemblies’ interactions.
- Ability to read and interpret prints and models. Experience with GD&T to ANSI Y14.5
- ASQ certifications: Certified Quality Technician (CQT) preferred.
- Experience programming CMM, Multi sensor Measurement Systems and other metrology equipment.
- Experience with Calypso, and Zone3/Measure X preferred.
- Basic understanding for 3d CAD, experience with Creo preferred.
- Microsoft Office literacy required (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays to support production and project timelines.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Frequently collect parts from production machines or the dock and return to lab for measurement.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

- The expected Base Hourly Range: $20.53 - $36.25. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
