Shipping Material Coordinator
Are you looking to advance your career with a growing manufacturing company? If you are based in the Indianapolis area, we’d love to explore having you join our growing team! As the Shipping Material Coordinator, you are responsible for a key part of the production and distribution of our industry leading Von Duprin products.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for putting away devices and trim from the main Assy lines to the shipping warehouse.
- Responsible for running and maintaining a clean shipping location report (Shipdrop)
- Responsible for cycle counting 3 devices locations per day
- Responsible for 5S within the area that includes:
- Devices labels are to face one way (Device number on top of label)
- Devices are to be moved to the top of the cart starting/flowing from right to left
- Responsible for maintaining a clean warehouse that follows the 5S standards that have been set by leadership.
- Work hours will follow the schedule of the Assy area (Device line/Trim) including all overtime.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy in the shipping warehouse.
- Employee must be highly motivated, good communication skills, able to speak to individuals, groups and staff members, always follow our value of “do the right thing”, and accept the goal of PI exemption of the Shipping Warehouse
