Position Overview :

Allegis Corporation, a leader in access hardware solutions, is seeking a driven and innovative Content Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This role will be pivotal in executing a video-first content strategy, with 60% video production and 40% written content creation, all aimed at driving measurable business results. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer, experienced video creator, strategic thinker, and creative problem solver who thrives on innovation. They should be adept at leveraging AI tools for research and content production while maintaining Allegis’ brand voice and message.

This is a high-impact role for a self-starter who can independently own content strategy, production, distribution, and performance tracking, demonstrating how their work contributes directly to business objectives.

Core Responsibilities :

Video and Written Content Creation (60% Video, 40% Written) :

  • Lead the creation of compelling video content, including product demos, customer success stories, thought leadership, and industry insights.
  • Develop written content such as blogs, case studies, and product-focused materials to complement video efforts.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Allegis’ brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • AI-Driven Content Innovation :

  • Leverage AI tools to streamline research, enhance video and written content production, and optimize performance.
  • Use AI to generate insights, accelerate ideation, and ensure content remains on-brand and tailored to target audiences.
  • Content Strategy and Performance :

  • Own the content strategy from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Establish measurable goals and KPIs for each piece of content and track performance across platforms.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to demonstrate content’s impact on lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Continuously innovate and experiment with new content formats and approaches to maximize impact.
  • Collaboration and Distribution :

  • Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to distribute video and written content effectively across platforms, including LinkedIn, YouTube, and Allegis’ website.
  • Partner across Marketing to integrate content into campaigns, emails, and other owned platforms.
  • Use paid media opportunities to amplify the reach and effectiveness of high-priority content.
  • Industry Expertise and Creative Problem-Solving :

  • Develop a strong understanding of the manufacturing and distribution industries to produce relevant and impactful content.
  • Identify industry trends and customer needs to inform creative, audience-specific content.
  • Act as a go-getter who proactively brings fresh ideas and creative approaches to the table.
  • Qualifications :

    Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in content marketing, with a demonstrated focus on video production and written content creation.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and persuasive copy.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Descript) for research, video editing, and content creation.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or the access hardware industry.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like Magento and email marketing tools.
  • Proven ability to align content efforts with business goals and articulate the ROI of content initiatives.
