Allegria Village, a senior living community located in Dearborn, is currently hiring for a part-time driver who must be willing to work on-call as needed.
Working holiday(s) and weekends is also a requirement for this position.
Overview: Responsible for ensuring the safe passage of the residents, visitors, and employees of the facility.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Transporting residents, staff, and visitors on pre-scheduled and unscheduled
appointments.
2. Coordinates usage of all company-owned vehicles.
3. Prepares vehicles for usage.
4. Logs and tracks vehicle usage.
5. Assisting residents, staff, and visitors (and their packages) in and out of vehicles.
6. Completion of incident reports regarding mechanical failure or driver error.
7. Operates ambulance and responds to medical emergencies, if applicable.
8. Maintain community and departmental philosophy and mission statement.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10. Other duties may be assigned
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum two years in transportation services required. Chauffeurs License required. One to three years of customer service experience needed.
License, Certificates, Registration: Current and valid Chauffeurs license. Requires current and valid driver’s license.
