Allegria Village, a secure senior living community in Dearborn, is looking for a gatehouse attendant to join our team.
MUST have at least 3-years of Security experience and be First Aid Certified to be considered for this position.
Shift: This is a Contingent position; meaning you will only be needed 2 weekends per month for a total of 32-hours per month. Day or afternoon shift available.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for logging of visitors, residents, and employees.
- Directs traffic on campus property.
- Completes Daily Rounds Reports.
- Daily rounds of the building and grounds.
- Continuous patrols of property and facilities.
- Completes Incident Reports (regarding medical response calls, theft of
response, and violations of rules and regulations).
- Responds to medical emergencies.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management to ensure the

Qualifications:
- Three (3) years job related experience
- First Aid Certification Required
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- As applicable, basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgement, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently or as a team
- Ability to solve problems as they arise
- Attention to details
- Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations
- Must have a valid Driver's License (necessary to operate our patrol vehicle while on duty).
- High school diploma or GED
