Allegria Village, a senior living community in Dearborn, is looking for a full-time OR part-time Utility Worker for the Dining Room in our Assisted Living/Skilled Nursing building.
Some duties to include:
- Clean and Sanitize tools and workspace, proper storage of clean tools, china, glass, and silver
- Following standards for dish machine use, chemical use, handling of china/glass/silver, control of waste
- Perform general cleaning duties in kitchen and storage areas
- All stored food must be labeled and dated
- Wash all kitchen eating equipment for meals and cooking activities
- Deliver excellent customer service by providing support to servers and production team
- Follow infection control procedures and policy and procedure manual to prevent infection and foodborne illness
Requirements:
- 1-year experience as a dishwasher/utility worker is required.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing facility is a plus!
