Licensed Plumber
Allegro Home Delivery is a fast-growing company beginning to disrupt the last mile home delivery market. We are currently looking for a Licensed Plumber in the Indianapolis, Indiana area to oversee a group of technicians providing installs for one of our appliance customers.
Primary Role: You will direct a group of technicians that provide appliance installations for one of our customers in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. You will monitor the success of installations and use your expertise with plumbing hook-ups to train and guide the team.
Responsibilities:
- Run crews and/or direct technicians in safe appliance installation
- Monitor the success of appliance installations and train when needed
- Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used
- Follow all current regulations for electrical work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
- Acquire permits where necessary
- Perform appliance installations with electrical and plumbing hook-ups at residential sites
- Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
- Communicate and guide team members and installers
Qualifications:
- Valid plumbing license in Indiana
- Excellent working knowledge of plumbing, gas, heating, and ventilation systems
- Experience installing appliances
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Strong critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills
- Good interpersonal skills and patience
- Must have own tools
Preferred Skills:
- Experience training or overseeing team members
- Customer facing experience
- In-home delivery experience
