Summary :
As a Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) , also known as an Allegro Care Team Assistant (CTA), you will play a key role in maintaining patient flow while providing professional and caring service to our patients and their families. The daily tasks of this role include, but are not limited to, maintaining patient records, coordinating schedules for patients and providers, and preparing patients for examination.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Manage rooming and coordinate efficient patient flow through the clinic.
- Support providers with patient care and by anticipating provider needs.
- Perform patient intake procedures. Includes but not limited to vital signs, hearing and vision screening, etc.
- Administer vaccines, and single dose medications via the following routes : oral, subcutaneous, intradermal, intramuscular, intranasal.
- Perform phlebotomy (MA-C or MA-phlebotomist) and other lab processes.
- Stock and clean routine clinic supplies and exam rooms; maintain safety and cleanliness throughout clinic.
- Assist in patient communication via phone calls and patient portal
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Other assigned duties as delegated by manager
- Exhibit good judgement within scope of role with or without provider or nurse present
- Promote atmosphere of patient care and customer service excellence, respecting patient rights, confidentiality, diversity, and developmental needs. Participate in committee and quality improvement activities as requested
