Content & Marketing Specialist

The Legal Content & Marketing Specialist is a key member of the marketing team responsible for creating and executing compelling content strategies that generate leads and build brand awareness for the firm. This role requires a strong understanding of legal principles, exceptional writing and editing skills, and experience with digital marketing, including video content creation, and social media management.

Job Duties:

• Content Creation:
  • Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for various channels, including website copy, blog posts, articles, case studies, client testimonials, social media posts, email newsletters, and video scripts.
  • Conduct legal research and stay up to date on industry trends to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
• Video Content Creation:
  • Plan, script, and produce engaging video content (e.g., client testimonials, attorney spotlights, firm overviews, etc.) for use on the firm's website, social media channels, and other platforms.
• Social Media Management:
  • Manage and grow the firm's social media presence across various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube).
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Monitor social media conversations and engage with followers.
• Lead Generation:
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies through content marketing and other digital channels.
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Branding and Messaging:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the firm's brand identity and messaging.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
• Client Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with clients and potential clients through various channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in content marketing and/or digital marketing.
• Experience in creating and producing video content (e.g., scripting, editing, video production).
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SEO and content marketing best practices.
• Experience with social media management tools and platforms.
• Proficiency in project management and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and practices is a plus.
• Experience working in a law firm environment is a plus.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• General office environment requires sitting for long periods of time, occasional periods of standing and walking.
• Visual capability to work viewing a computer monitor for several hours of the day.
• The ability to work in an office environment around others.
• The ability to exhibit manual dexterity and use standard office equipment such as phones, keyboards, and copiers for extended periods of time.
