Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Engineering Professional. We are a Civil engineering firm that provides services for roadway and bridge design, surveying, utility relocation coordination, reconnaissance, bridge inspection, right-of-way acquisition, and utility design. Its clients are throughout Oklahoma and a candidate can look forward to an active role on state department of transportation and / or municipal transportation-related projects. The role is based in Tulsa OK, but some work-from-home is acceptable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Civil Engineering Design skills, especially in roadway and bridge design and storm sewer design.
- Professional Engineering License required
- Minimum of 5 years of transportation engineering design experience
- Effective communication skills to work with team members and clients.
- Project management skills, especially in managing projects from inception to completion.
- Manage work assignments for Junior Engineers, CAD technicians and other support staff.
- Familiarity with relevant computer software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual, ODOT design standard & Brown book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices is desired.
