Do you have a passion for driving, logistics, and ensuring that shipments arrive on time and in perfect condition? Allen Flavors, Inc. is looking for a CDL Class A Driver with HAZMAT Endorsement to join our dynamic logistics team. If you're committed to safety, customer service, and keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Transport Specialist: Operate company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations, primarily between local facilities.
- Delivery Pro: Pick up and deliver products and materials, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
- Maintenance Maestro: Perform routine before-, during-, and after-operation vehicle inspections, ensuring all reports are completed accurately.
- Customer Service Star: Provide outstanding service during delivery and pickup operations, representing Allen Flavors with professionalism.
- Safety Expert: Maintain all required DOT, OSHA, and company certifications, and adhere to safety standards (HACCP, SQF, Food Defense, etc.).
- Equipment Caretaker: Ensure all property and equipment entrusted to you is maintained in excellent condition.
- Snow Plow Hero: Use company vehicles to plow parking lots as needed, contributing to safe facility access during winter months.
- Team Player: Support and improve team operations, taking on additional tasks as assigned by management.
You’ll Shine if You Have:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- License & Certification: Valid CDL Class A with HAZMAT Endorsement REQUIRED.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Skills:
- Expertise in operating and maintaining trucks and trailers safely.
- Physical strength to lift up to 100 lbs. and roll 300 lb. drums.
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold).
- Knowledge of safety programs like HACCP, SQF, and GMP.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
