- High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid Texas Driver's License and a driving record that meets the requirements of the district's insurance carrier.
- CDL PreferredSpecial Knowledge / Skills :
- Successful experience in general warehousing with the ability to outline work schedules.
- A propensity for orderliness and neatness.
- Literacy in the English language.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration might find appropriate and acceptable.Experience : Major Responsibilities and Duties :
- Makes deliveries of materials,
- Maintains inventory of supplies and stock requests.
- Keeps the warehouse clean and neat.
- Loads and unloads merchandise.
- Checks, accepts, or refuses shipments made to school district.
- Responsible for care and maintenance of school vehicle(s) and warehouse equipment.
- Performs general maintenance, clean-up, custodial, security, and related tasks in case of a facility emergency.
- Performs other duties as the Superintendent may assign.Supervisory Responsibilities : None.Customer Care Skills :
- Provide professional communication with students, parents, community members, staff and other professionals at all times.
- Use proper phone etiquette at all times, speaking slowly and clearly. Take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
