Senior Finance Systems Analyst Oracle

The Senior Finance Systems Analyst is the subject matter expert (SME) for all Oracle Fusion Financial modules and is the technical point of contact for all financial module questions. They will join the Finance Systems Analyst team who manages and leads integrations, upgrades, patches, testing, report writing, and other technical projects as required. They also lead the functional development and maintenance of the finance information systems. This role uses independent judgement in solving problems and may assist less experienced peers as needed.

Essential Functions
Oracle Fusion ERP and OTBI:
- Serve as the Oracle Fusion ERP Finance and Procurement application administrator and subject matter expert
- Use Oracle Fusion knowledge to build, test, and deploy functionality and system improvements
- Develop, maintain, and modify OTBI, Data Model, and BI Publisher reports
- Analyze complex business processes and design solutions based upon Oracle Fusion ERP capabilities
Subject Matter Expertise (SME):
- Address complex Oracle Fusion ERP issues and maintain awareness of current trends in Finance and Finance systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies
- Examine trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques
- Continuously increase both Finance process and Finance application/tools knowledge
- Participate in user group meetings/conferences
Production Support:
- Provide support for Finance and Procurement systems functionality, including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results, or process flaws
- Perform scheduled activities
- Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business and systems requirements
Process Improvement:
- Lead and project manage process improvement by investigating, identifying, and implementing Oracle Fusion features not currently in use; identifying areas where business processes depart from best practice solutions and recommend solutions
- Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
- Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., accounting, accounts payable, payroll, procurement)
System Maintenance:
- Assist in the review, testing and implementation of Oracle Fusion quarterly releases upgrades or patches
- Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate upgrade or fix of application
- Maintain master data tables
- Document processes and results
Reports/Metrics/Dashboards:
- Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports, metrics and dashboards using appropriate reporting tools
- Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs
- Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
Documentation and Training:
- Develop user procedures, guidelines, workflows and configuration documentation
- Document processes and apply a mindset of continuous improvement towards those processes
- Lead one on one and group presentations to train users and peers on processes and functionality

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of degree and work experience
- 5 years of Finance or Finance adjacent experience
- 5 years of Oracle Fusion/ERP Cloud or E-Business Suite experience (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Grants Management, Subledger Accounting, Procurement, Inventory Management, Time and Labor, Cash Management)
- 5 years of reporting, data analysis/visualization, dashboard, and integration experience
- 5 years of process documentation and process improvement implementation
- MS Office 365 Intermediate to Advanced/Expert skills including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Systems and functionality implementation experience
- SQL custom report development and modification experience
- Understand Finance ERP setup and configuration.
- Experience with master data tables, reporting and automation agents.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Over 5 years of experience with Oracle Fusion/ERP Cloud or E-Business Suite experience (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Grants Management, Subledger Accounting, Procurement, Inventory Management, Time and Labor, Cash Management)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform products for reporting and greater efficiency of dataflows
- Expert SQL experience, fast formula knowledge is a bonus
- Java, Concur and ADP experience
Physical Demands

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This role is currently able to work both remotely and onsite in a hybrid work environment. We are a Washington State employer, and the primary work location for all Allen Institute employees is 615 Westlake Ave N.; any remote work must be performed in Washington State.

Annualized Salary Range
- $126,150 - $173,470 *
*Final salary depends on required education for the role, experience, and level of skills relevant to the role, along with work location, where applicable.
