What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer School All Levels Administrative Assistant position at Allen ISD?
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect, confirm and provide time keeper with staff attendance
Ensure staff signs in and out daily
Sign-in and out as well as provide information to substitutes coming into the building
Answer phone calls related to summer school
Communicate with parents regarding student attendance
Assist with inventory, distribution and packaging of materials
Assist with student coverage as needed
Provide support of programs under the supervision and direction of the site administrator
Enter student attendance in database
Manage / support communication and mailings to families as needed under the supervision of the site administrator
EXPERIENCE :
Experience with Synergy and STARS software
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Previous experience with summer school
Experience working cooperatively with staff, parents and students
Knowledge of the student registration and withdrawal process
QUALIFICATIONS :
1 or more years working in an office environment
Bilingual : English-Spanish
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using technology
