RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities Include :
Helps to plan and conduct orientation for teachers
Coordinates scheduling process
Helps set instructional tone and supports sound instructional practices
Maintains high visibility in classrooms and halls
Monitors student attendance
Monitors substitute teaching procedures
Monitors hall and cafeteria
Assists with discipline matters and emergencies
Prepares correspondence as needed
Supervises all opening and closing procedures
Helps ensure completion of end-of-session reports i.e., attendance summary, pre-post assessment data
Performs related duties as required or assigned
EXPERIENCE : Experience :
Previous experience with the implementation of Summer School
Experience working as part of a team
Knowledge of content area curriculum and best instructional practices
QUALIFICATIONS :
Preferred Qualifications :
Virginia Teaching Certification
Virginia Administrative Endorsement
Demonstrated knowledge of culturally responsive pedagogy
Demonstrated leadership abilities at the school and / or county level
Bilingual : English-Spanish
