Data Entry Specialist Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team.
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customer data into excel format, sending and responding to emails, making phone calls, and confirming email received.
Responsibilities:
- Enter customer data into our database with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Respond to emails and phone calls from customers and potential business leads
- Make outbound phone calls to confirm business leads and follow up on customer inquiries
- Verify and update customer information in our database
- Process and respond to emails from customers and potential business leads
- Meet productivity and quality standards for data entry and customer communication
- Maintain confidentiality and security of customer data
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Strong typing skills (40-60 wpm) and computer literacy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of customer data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with database management software such as excel, word software
