Rate : $100.00 - $120.00 / hour DOE

Summary of Position :
Our client is a European investment bank looking for a Techno Functional Applications Developer with Summit (Finastra) and C# expertise.
This is a Front to Back-office position within the FITC group of their IT department.
The role of the Application Developer is to develop (i.e. : program) software as per the sponsors' requirements. The sponsor can be a user, a department, or a project.
The delivered product will essentially comprise of a GUI (graphical user interface), an engine (i.e. : for calculation, decisions making, order passing, etc.) and a data component (i.e. : pull in, manipulate, store, push out).
In compliance with the firm's software development policies, the Application Developer is providing software solutions that will allow the firm to increase its productivity and efficiency, streamline its processes, mitigate risk, remain compliant with the changing market regulations and in turn build up its competitive advantage.

Work with / support the Fixed Income, Treasury and Credit business :
Turn these requirements into functional and technical specification documents outlining :
o Business need(s) to be addressed
o Software alternatives
o Proposed alternative along with action plan and cost
o Justification of the selected technologies
