What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Automotive Porter, you’ll be an integral part of our service department. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring our vehicles are safely moved throughout the dealership, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining an organized and welcoming environment for our customers. You’ll also help keep our lot neat and orderly, ensuring we maintain high standards of service and presentation. Your work will directly impact the overall customer experience and contribute to the smooth operation of our dealership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service to customers arriving for service appointments
- Greet customers and assist with the vehicle alignment check on the in-lane machine
- Transport customers to and from their vehicle service appointments
- Help maintain a clean and stocked customer lounge area
- Keep the lot neat and orderly by moving cars as directed by the general manager
- Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
- Drive vehicles through the car wash after service
- Ensure all work is done in accordance with dealership display standards
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and/or sit for long periods
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
