Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals
- Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and guide them in selecting the right vehicle
- Continuously expand product knowledge and sales expertise, staying informed on vehicle features, optional packages, and the latest technologies
- Conduct professional and engaging demonstrations of new and used vehicles to highlight key features and benefits
- Follow up with customers after purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage future referrals
- Master objection-handling techniques to navigate sales challenges and maximize success in various situations
- Report to the Sales Manager on progress towards sales objectives, planned activities, and performance analysis
- Bring a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic to every sales interaction
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the dealership’s goals and operations
Qualifications:
- Previous Sales Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in retail or automotive sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and explain product features clearly and persuasively
- Customer-Centric Attitude: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering personalized service to meet their unique needs
- Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle features, specifications, and market trends; willingness to continuously learn about new products and technologies
- Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to guide customers through the sales process and close deals in a professional and effective manner
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to handle customer objections and resolve issues with a solution-oriented approach
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, online sales tools, and other technology to manage customer relationships and track sales activities
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well within a team environment to achieve dealership goals
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and Adaptable: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet customer needs
- Pre-Employment Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and background check
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
