Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused bartender to join our team at Allenberry Resort. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests, ensuring an outstanding experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additionally, there will be opportunities to work at a variety of events held at the resort, allowing you to showcase your skills and interact with guests in a wide range of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and guest preferences.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by adhering to all state and federal alcohol laws and resort policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly.
- Operate the POS system accurately for billing and processing orders.
- Follow food handling procedures and safety standards to ensure the quality and safety of food and beverages.
- Monitor the guest's experience and respond to any concerns or requests promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations during peak periods.
- Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the resort's schedule.
- Opportunities to work in special events such as weddings, conferences, and private parties, providing tailored service to guests and supporting the resort’s event team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fast-paced and/or fine dining environments preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a high-energy environment.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS operations for accurate billing.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Experience with and knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine preferred.
- RAMP certification is preferred.
- A positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences are essential for success in this role.
