Special Education Teacher (LBS1) Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Special Education Teacher (LBS1) to join our team at The Allendale Association, a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to excellence and innovation in the care, treatment, education, and advocacy for children and youth with serious emotional, mental, and behavioral health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group special education instruction and therapeutic services within a self-contained classroom in a therapeutic day school setting.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each student.
- Collaborate with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students and their families.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field.
- LBS1 License/Endorsement or Short Term Emergency License pursuing LBS1 Required.
- Knowledge of Special Education laws, rules, and regulations.
