What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Assistant: Permanent and Fill-in position at Allene Robinson?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT: no experience required
Seeking reliable aide for light hands-on help in mornings and evenings to assist slim 61yo physically disabled female with bed-to-wheelchair transfers
- and morning and evening routines
No vax/mask or special training/experience required or desired, not even a GED. Just a heart to help and a bit of muscle. This former foreign language teacher doesn't care what language you speak--español/português/français/nederlands/???--so long as you are kind, considerate, and have a pleasant personality.
General tasks include:
- personal care (I wipe myself :) ); dressing/undressing
- transfers (I use a mobility scooter and transfer boards)
- feed/take my dog out
- prepare light breakfast (no mad culinary skills needed)
I take no meds and am in general good health, except for the muscular dystrophy part. Thin. I'm not elderly or mentally weak; I just need help physically to get things done.
Qualifications:
- Must like my dog.
- Healthy, clean living is a huge plus. Not a sit-down job.
- Students or stay-at-home moms encouraged to apply.
Hours: 1-hr shifts, so proximity to Clemmons is desirable.
Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon: 6am-7am
Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu: 9pm-10pm
Schedule is flexible. I'll work with you. I am also looking for a fill-in if you are interested in more hours.
