Job Summary
The Allenstown School District is seeking a K-8 music teacher. This position is part of the unified arts team and teaches music classes to all students K-8. The Allenstown Community School is a new building with 21st century learning spaces which includes a large classroom, practice rooms, and multiple instrument storage spaces. In addition to seeking an energetic and creative teacher, there is a desire to expand band/vocal performance and interdisciplinary opportunities for students. Experience with competency based education and ALMA student information system is a plus. This a full time position with benefits, salary commensurates with teaching experience, and current NH certification is required.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Oversee the band program and assist with chorus performance
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- NH Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,612.00 - $80,592.00 per year
