Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Kansas City, MO
This person acts as the go-to for the day to operations of technology systems, as well as collaborating with the executive team to continuously develop key technologies to support companies’ growth. This individual collaborates closely with consultants and technology partners to accomplish team and company goals.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and integrated applications
- Define and manage native cloud strategies, and best practices, to drive expansion and utilization of these platforms
- Deliver robust, cost efficient, and timely solutions to meet internal business needs
- Interfaces with leadership on strategic alignment, operations, and maintenance requirements, improving accountability and joint problem resolution
- Design and develops technical infrastructure with hosting partners, business continuity planning, to ensue High Availability and Disaster Recovery (RTO/RPO) objectives to meet business needs
- Participate in the architectural governance function and processes to ensure the ongoing alignment of business, functional, and technical architecture from an enterprise solution perspective
- Leads architectural practice as it relates to applications and services
- Works with team to help define, direct, govern, and manage a sustainable enterprise architectural strategy
- Responsible for system reliability and availability.
- Manage companies IT security program including PCI, HIPAA, and industry regulatory compliance
- Coordinate companies annual SOC II audit
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems management, computer science, engineering, information systems, IT or related field, or advanced certification in related discipline
- 7 years of experience in a similar role showing career progression
- 5 years people management
- 5 years of experience in project management
- 3 years of experience in vendor management
Knowledge and Skills/Expected Competencies
- Facilitating change, driving operational excellence, and striving for continuous improvement
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies available within the Office 365 and Azure services and how to utilize said technologies to improve operational efficiencies across multiple departments.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 including System Administration
- Reporting using SSRS and Power BI
- Developing custom Plugins
- Integration with multiple external vendor systems and/or plug-ins
- Exceptional knowledge of relational database design, implementation, querying and transactional systems in MS SQL Server and MySQL.
- Familiar with REST based web services and JSON data structures.
- Knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing third-party APIs
- Familiar with version control systems
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory
- An individual that understands databases, data integrity, and data analytics
- Someone that can wear multiple hats in an organization, and enjoys it
- Ability to translate technical details to non-technical clients both internal and external
