Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Position
Locations: Anderson or Spartanburg, South Carolina
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join our outpatient medical practice. The ideal candidate will be experienced in clinical procedures, patient care, and medical office operations. Asthma and Allergy experience helpful.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all doctor's area tasks with proficiency
- Perform clinical procedures including:
- Venipunctures
- Spirometry tests
- Nasal smears and cultures
- Nebulizer treatments
- Administer and document therapeutic injections and immunizations
- Handle prescription management including entering, refilling, and e-prescribing as directed by providers
- Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the practice
- Administer and properly document biological injections
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens for external testing
- Conduct rapid testing using Cepheid equipment - Process and manage billing for provided services
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure proper stocking of exam rooms
- Input patient information in compliance with CMS requirements
- Recognize and appropriately respond to signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification
- Strong team player mentality with a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

- One year of clinical experience

Schedule and Work Environment
- Full-time position
- Monday to Thursday (Friday 8a-1p)
- 8-hour shifts
- Outpatient setting
