What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefit Verification Specialist position at Allergy and Asthma Associates?
Busy Medical Practice seeking a highly motivated Benefit Verification Specialist. This is a full time in office position with medical, dental and vision benefits, term life insurance, 401K, paid time off and paid Holidays after introductory period. Minimum one year experience within a multi-physician medical practice required. Able to work on Wednesday evening and Saturday morning rotation.

- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of insurance benefits
- Understanding Insurance Authorization
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft office)
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Must work quickly, accurately and independently
- Excellent verbal communication and written communication
- Self-starter, self-motivated and highly accountable
- Team Player
- Have a positive, friendly demeanor at all times and willingness to go above & beyond
- Professional, reliable and responsible.
- Knowledge of EPiC system is a plus
Salary is commensurate based on experience
