KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Exceptional Patient Care:
- Deliver compassionate and professional care, addressing concerns, providing information, and educating patients and families about allergies, asthma, and related conditions, including treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals:
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Measure Vital Signs, Assist with Tests, and Administer Medications
- Accurately measure and record patients' vital signs, support physicians during diagnostic tests and medical procedures, and safely administer prescribed medications and injections, ensuring patient comfort and protocol adherence.
Manage Medical Equipment:
- Prepare, maintain, and clean medical equipment, ensuring proper use and hygiene.
Document Patient Information in EMR
- Record patient clinical conditions and changes in the electronic medical records (EMR) system (IMS), maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
Maintain Accurate Records and Prescription Refills:
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies, and coordinate with pharmacies for prescription refill requests.
About You:
- Located in Waco, Tx (or within 30 miles of Waco).
- Licensed Vocational Nurse: Current Texas licensure is required.
- Proven Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in allergy and asthma care.
- EMR systems Experience (IMS preferred): Minimum 1 year experience
- LVN: 1 year

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
Languages:
- Native English speaking fluency required
- Conversational Spanish-speaking skills are very nice to have
Compensation:
- We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, with a salary range of $44,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
